Applicant/Holder Rights and Obligations
1. The Applicant or Holder acknowledges reading the naming decision provisions and agrees to be bound by all its terms as adopted and amended by ANRT. The decision is available on the ANRT website.
2. The Holder enjoys exclusive and personal use of the registered domain name during its validity period, in accordance with applicable regulations.
3. Upon registration or renewal, the Applicant or Holder is deemed to have accepted the collection, storage, and processing of their data by ANRT, as well as the publication of “WHOIS” data.
4. The Holder agrees that some of their data may be transmitted by ANRT to competent authorities or to third parties upon a valid request.
5. The choice, use, and operation of a domain name and its subdomains are the responsibility of the Holder, who must use them for their own needs without infringing on the rights and interests of others.
6. The Holder is represented by a physical person, known as the administrative contact, duly authorized and established in Morocco. If the Holder is a natural person, they may serve as their own contact.
7. The Holder acknowledges that the administrative contact is authorized to act on their behalf for domain name registration and management. In case of dispute between the Holder and the contact, the Holder's decision prevails.
8. The Holder must provide the Registrar with valid postal and email addresses, both for themselves and their administrative contact.
9. The Holder must ensure that all registration information provided to the Registrar is up to date, complete, and accurate, and update it immediately in case of changes. They must verify that WHOIS data is correct and update it promptly.
10. The Holder may renew the domain name at any time according to the naming decision. Upon expiration, they must renew it during the grace period to retain it.
11. Upon expiration, the Registrar may terminate the domain if the Holder fails to pay the renewal fees. After the grace period, the domain is deleted by ANRT.
12. The Holder may terminate the domain before its expiration. During the termination grace period, they may re-register the domain.
13. The Holder may request a change of Registrar at any time, subject to the naming decision and current agreement.
14. The Holder may transfer the domain to another party, subject to the naming decision and current agreement.
15. The Holder agrees to comply with the alternative dispute resolution procedure and any ANRT decision regarding the “.ma” domain.
Registrar Rights and Obligations
1. The Registrar must notify the Holder of domain expiration 30 days in advance and allow renewal anytime before or during the grace period.
2. The Registrar must make changes to the registry regarding domains and Holders when instructed by the Holder.
3. Upon domain termination, the Registrar must inform the Holder and specify the termination grace period.
4. The Registrar must provide a website with up-to-date contact information and publish all ANRT regulatory updates and procedures regarding domain name management.
5. The Registrar must relay to the Holder any information or notification received from ANRT concerning them.
6. The Registrar must promptly notify the Holder of any freeze, block, or deletion of a domain by ANRT, including the reason provided.
7. Upon the Holder's request, the Registrar must provide domain authorization codes within one (1) business day.
8. The Registrar must assist Holders with registration, renewal, termination, transfer, and updating of domain names and their associated data.
9. The Registrar must not collect, use, or disclose any Holder data for purposes other than those specified for domain registration and management, in compliance with personal data protection laws.
